International Missionaries make use of our 2 bedroom apartment as housing while they are on stateside assignment. This has given great opportunity for the Samaria Baptist Church Family to learn about and contribute to foreign mission efforts. One family works in Indonesia improving farming practices and helping villages build safe drinking water facilities. Another couple was returning from years of service in Eastern Europe and bringing home twin boys they adopted. The church apartment was also the departure point for a young missionary family headed for an undisclosed mostly Muslim North African country with the expectation that they would not be back to the U.S., but grow old and die in that hostile foreign country.
