We are ordinary people with all the dreams, hopes and hurts that everyone has. Our lives have trials and disappointments but we know the gift of salvation (deliverance from sin through Jesus Christ's death on the cross) through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Because of that relationship with Christ we experience a great joy that can’t be described. We have made the conscious choice to follow the leadership of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to support and love each other as He has taught us to do in the scriptures. Rev. Claude Evans, Senior Pastor
Claude Evans was born in Richmond, VA and was reared in eastern Henrico County. He is a graduate of the University of Richmond and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville Kentucky. His early Christian experience came at Antioch Baptist Church which ordained him in 1970. He has been privileged to be the pastor of Samaria Baptist Church for over thirty years. He considers it a joy to be a part of a church that participates fully in Christian worship and ministry.
